Recently, Zhunneng Group released its 2024 CSR Report, marking the eighth time that the Group has publicly issued its responsibility report. The report comprehensively represents the Group’s significant initiatives and remarkable achievements across the three core responsibility domains of economy, society and environment.

In 2024, Zhunneng Group implemented multiple measures to advance rural revitalization, rolling out a comprehensive strategy focusing on targeted assistance and consumption assistance. For these efforts, it was awarded two honors: 2023 Outstanding Enterprise for Promoting Consumption Assistance Through Enterprise-Local Collaboration in Zhunge’er Banner and 2023 Outstanding Enterprise for Consumption Assistance in Ordos City. The Yihewusu Sumu of Hanggin Banner presented the Group with a commemorative banner inscribed with “Targeted Village Assistance Warms Hearts; Consumption Assistance Benefits Livelihoods” to express gratitude for the Group’s substantial contributions.

In 2024, Zhunneng Group’s total expenditure on consumption assistance reached RMB 30.2442 million. The Group actively participated in initiatives such as the CHN Energy’s Spring Consumption Assistance Activity, and purchased agricultural products worth RMB 9.9842 million from nine targeted assistance counties of the CHN Energy through platforms including the Smart Procurement and Staff Bulk Purchasing, with a per capita consumption assistance amount of RMB 1,000. Additionally, the Group made solid progress in the photovoltaic power station project in Hanggin Banner’s designated assistance villages, creating new income-generating channels for local residents. This not only helps consolidate and expand the achievements of poverty alleviation, but also effectively links new energy development with rural revitalization. The Group also successfully completed a series of paired assistance projects including the rural cultural and tourism project in Barunhadai Village, Xuejiawan Town, the “coal-to-electricity” conversion project in Baidalu Village, and the hawthorn tree planting project in Goumen Village. These efforts have effectively improved rural living environment, optimized public service systems, and boosted the development of distinctive local industries.

Zhunneng Group has also supported the development of local education by donating funds to build Tongren School in Zhunge’er Banner, helping to raise education quality in the region. In recognition of this contribution, the Group was awarded a commemorative banner and a certificate of appreciation. Moving forward, Zhunneng Group will continue to adhere to its original aspiration and take solid actions to help build liveable, workable and happy rural communities, fully demonstrating its corporate responsibility and commitment.
